Washington, DC April 3, 1997 -- Prospect Technologies has been invited to sit on
the Council on Small Business of the
US Chamber of Commerce. This is a three year appointment.
In a letter from Michael S. Starnes, Chairman of the Board of the US Chamber of Commerce
to Prospect Technologies President Bill Lewis, Starnes pointed out that: " . . . the
council is the primary policy-originating body for the US Chamber in the area of small
business policy. It serves the function of enabling the Chamber to serve more fully the
needs of small business members and to help theses small busnesses take more effective
action in legislative, regulatory, and political issues. For this reason, . . the
Chamber looks to Prospect Technologies expert help and advice to assist the Chamber in not
only promoting sound small business policy, but also in providing services that will
assist small companies survive and grow in a challenging economy.
"I am delighted to be able to sit on the Council on Small Business", says Bill Lewis. "We
will be able to bring our focus on 'leading edge' technologies to assist other small
business throughout the United States and help the US Chamber of Commerce position US
Business for the 21st Century."
