Prospect Technologies selected to support the Third World Foundation

Washington, DC July 1997 -- Prospect Technologies announced today that the Third World Foundation of Washington, DC and College Park, MD has selected them as their provider of Electronic / Internet services. The Third World Foundation, through its access to funding, scientific and institutional resources, provides opportunities for scientists and officials of developing countries to define their own solutions to the Agenda 21 issues of sustainable environments, sustainable economies, sustainable communities and sustainable livelihoods. The Foundation seeks project partners to join in attaining these goals through its affiliation with the Third World Academy of Sciences. The Foundation is a 501(c) (3) that operates through contributions from organizations, corporations, foundations, and individuals that support resource renewal. Currently, it is financed with a grant from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Prospect Technologies will be establishing an On-line electronic forum that will allow scientists and researchers from around the world to communicate and discuss issues related to replenishment of land and ecology. This On-line forum will also tap into a Web site, which will contain a repository for scholarly papers and other publications.
