Prospect Technologies delivers Internet
talk to State Boating Law Executives

Washington, DC September 22, 1996

Prospect Technologies, in support of their multi-task contract with the United States Coast Guard to develop an interactive site on the World Wide Web has been invited to deliver a talk on the Internet to the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators -- NASBLA. This talk will be in Pittsburgh, PA at NASBLA's national convention.

Dr. Wm. [Bill] Frederick Lewis, President of Prospect Technologies will discuss some of the work that the firm is doing in the area of electronic commerce over the Internet. In addition the speech will focus on the firm's work with the Office of Boating Safety at the US Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC to computerize all of its publications and put them on a site on the World Wide Web.

This talk :

  • Introduced and described the Office of Boating Safety's Vision of utilizing the Internet
  • Discussed where the project stands today
  • Showed the next steps for completion
  • Presented Prospect Technologies to the audience and introduced its capabilities supporting Electronic Commerce over the Internet
  • Solicited support from NASBLA for this project
