Washington, DC September 1997 -- Prospect Technologies announced today that is has been selected by the Sientific Applications International Company [SAIC] to join it as a subcontractor on its I-TOP contract. The I-TOP is an omnibus information technology contract with the US Department of Transportation. This is a multi-year, multiple award contract. This will provide Prospect Technologies with an additional US Government "buying vehicle" by which Federal government customers can utilize its and SAIC's services.

The first engagement for Prospect Technologies will be a joint SAIC / Prospect Technologies study for the US Coast Guard on database / Internet security issues. This work will be delivered over the next 6 to 9 months.
