I n March of 1999, Prospect Technologies won a contract to develop the Federal Maritime Commission’s (FMC) Internet Based Service Contract Filing System (IBSCFS) / SERVCON system. This system was designed to handle all the filings of service contracts for US maritime transportation. This article, published in the Feb. 24th issue of the Journal of Commerce, highlights some of the recent work and capabilities of IBSCFS / SERVCON system.
