Washington, DC November 1999 -- Prospect Technologies announced today that it has become Disson Furst and Partners (DFP) technology partner. In this role Propsect Technologies will supply to DFP all computer hardware, software, and networking, as well as a variety of Internet services including dial-up connections, E-mail post-office, Web site and extensive consulting on how to use the Internet to make their business run smoother.
In a move intended to change the landscape of traditional sports and entertainment marketing, four companies have
merged to create DFP, a sponsorship and event marketing company. The new company will serve corporate
clients through offices in eight U.S. markets - New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Daytona, Charlotte
and Orlando.
Describing itself as the leader in high-growth sponsorship areas, the new company has assembled a team of insiders from today's
fastest-growing fields of sports, entertainment and hospitality marketing. Stephen Disson, President and CEO, notes that DFP has
attracted senior managers who are respected as innovators in the high-growth areas of action sports and music, motorsports, figure skating,
cycling, the Olympics, entertainment and corporate hospitality.
"Our clients consider us a part of their team because we work alongside them to make sponsorships, events and hospitality an integral and
dynamic part of their marketing mix," said Disson
Examples of company achievements include:
In addition to its expertise in high-growth sponsorship and events, DFP offers corporate clients broad advisory, development and
management services across three business areas: Corporate Consulting, Event Creation and Management, and Corporate Hospitality and
Events. Each area is closely managed by one or more of the company's 10 partners. Company services include advising clients on all
aspects of strategic sponsorship and events, as well as creating and managing sponsorship and hospitality events.
In addition, StarSkates, a joint
effort between DFP and Adventure on ice!, a UK based firm, has produced
a Web site to support a simulcast between the Web and NBC. This Web site
allows the TV Viewer to gain background on the programs they are viewing,
buy merchandise, as well as communicate with DFP / StarSkates which will
help shape future Ice skating programs. |
