select Prospect Technologies to build Web site
Washington, DC February 28th, 1997
The affiliated Americas Society and the Council of the Americas based in New York and Washington, DC will broaden their educational advocacy and policy discussions efforts through a new, Interactive Web site, which is being designed and implemented by Prospect Technologies. This site will be up and running by spring.
"A presence on the World Wide Web will give members fuller and faster access to both our Washington policy monitoring and our New York City based meetings featuring nation leaders from the hemisphere", said Ambassador Everett Ellis Briggs, President of the Society and the Council. "It will also allow for immediate interchange of information and ideas between members and the Council's staff".
"The resources of the Internet will greatly increase both the quality and quantity of interactions with members", agreed Bill Lewis, President of Prospect Technologies. "The Council will see a quantum leap in ways it develops relevant information and programs to support members".
In addition, Prospect Technologies will provide support for the computer and
communications networks of the Council and the Americas Society. Other current Prospect
Technologies clients include the U.S. Coast Guard's
Office of Boating Safety, the Defense Department's
Business Process Re-engineering [BPR] Group, and
IKON Management Services.
