in Electronic Commerce
Washington, DC May 28, 1997 -- Prospect Technologies continues to
bring to its expanding customer base advances in the areas of Electronic
Commerce and the Internet. Here are some examples of some "bleeding edge"
advances seen over the past few weeks.
Search Engine for the Federal Register – To support the efforts of the US Coast
Guard, Prospect Technologies has developed a search engine to assist citizens in
commenting on notices in the Federal Register. This work has streamlined the response
process and makes it much easier for recreational boaters to provide input on relevant
issues in the Federal Register.
On-line Art Gallery – In
support of a major Web site project for the Americas Society, Prospect Technologies has
established on on-line art and photo gallery. The Americas Society, a non-profit
educational organization, was founded in 1965 by David Rockefeller, who continues to
serve as honorary chairman. Its mission is to inform Americans about politics, economics
and cultures of countries in the Western Hemisphere.
Assistance to the National Archives and Records Administration
– Prospect Technologies has been engaged by the Center for Legislative
archives of the National Archives and Records Administration to assist
them with their recent Web exhibition entitled "Their Mothers before them".
This assistance took the form of advising the National Archives on how
to use the Web and the Internet on how to make much of their extensive
archives collection available to the general public. |
