Washington, DC - It was announced today that Prospect Technologies, a Washington, DC based e-business and total IT support company has developed an automatic Web publishing tool to help firms and organization easily update their Web sites. This tool and capability, commonly referred to as a Content Management System (CMS), will enable firms and other organizations to publish highly formatted / stylistic / interesting Web pages without an in-depth knowledge of HTML or some sophisticated Web publishing tool.

"Our CMS uses scripting tools that allows ease in customization, rapid development, and flexibility in design. Plus, it 'pushes the envelope' of e-business a bit further in the direction of user-friendly-ness!"

As an example, this CMS capability is currently being employed by the following customers:

    • Georgetown University;
    • The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC)
    • DIGIDOQ (Prospect Technologies’ Web based digital document management system);
    • The US Army;
    • The National Trust of Historic Preservation;
    • Princeton University;
    • The Coalition of Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI);
    • Herb Gordon Auto World; and
    • Prospect Technologies.

This CMS capability will speed updates to Web sites, reduce the cost of site maintenance, improve the quality of “information to the customer”, and standardize on update formats. The updated information is also stored in a database which, in turn, can be searched allowing in-depth information retrieval.
