The e-business market of College Class Reunions

Washington, DC - Prospect Technologies takes aim at the new e-business market opportunity of college and class reunions. Building on past successful reunion and collegiate related projects as well as existing educational clients including Princeton, Rutgers, Georgetown, and the University of Maryland, Prospect Technologies will offer a suite of reunions focused products ranging from Class newsletters, push-e-mail, interactive tools, forms, searchable and tracking databases, on-line information, logistics, and ad-hoc reporting. The firm has also pioneered the use of ‘blogs’ to aid in publishing information on class events.

“While many classes have members with [programming] talents and capabilities to do some of the technical work,” said Bill Saunders, “few, if any of these members, can or should take the time required to do a really first class job”.

In addition, Prospect Technologies has specialized in developing interactive tools to allow even the Web novice to publish professional news, events, and other such updateable information.

The design methodology used by Prospect Technologies will allow for class members to seamlessly contribute to their Reunion Web site without concern for such technicalities as HTML programming or JAVA Script. Furthermore, these Web sites can function as polling places for class themes selection, as well as dues collection repositories, merchandise stores, and data collection and confirmation tools.

A class preparing for a major Reunion can choose as little or as much of Prospect Technologies’ suite of e-business solutions as meets their need. In addition, the firm can even host the Web site on one of its secure server farms

"This challenge is exciting and the benefits for the classes make this a win-win proposition," says Bill Saunders. “Most classes have the need and Prospect Technologies has the solution!"
