Washington, DC - In an effort to provide thier customers with the most ‘up-to-date’ and a technologically current IT infrastructure, Prospect Technologies announced today the transition of its dial-up provider services from Earthlink to Highstream. After much research and investigation, Prospect Technologies’ engineers have determined that Highstream dial-up service will provide its users greater connectivity and higher network availability. This equates to fewer outages and higher efficiencies for customers.

This transition should represent a minimal change to most. Representatives from Prospect Technologies will be contacting dial-up customers to assist each through the simple process of switching thier connection to Highstream. For those few users that still maintain an Earthlink e-mail address this may be the ideal time to transition to their own DNS, e.g. me@mycompany.com. Prospect Technologies’ engineers will be glad to help establish a personalized DNS.

Those customers not wishing to participate in this transition or those wanting to remain with Earthlink will also be assisted by Prospect Technologies’ engineers in establishing their own Earthlink account.
