The Federal Maritime Commission awards Prospect Technologies several extension contracts to support its Internet Based Service Contract Filing System (IBSCFS)
Washington, DC - The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has awarded a number of year-end contracts to Prospect Technologies to continue to support its Internet Based Service Contract Filing System (IBSCFS). These three contracts will enable Prospect Technologies to enhance the existing system to include such items as:
- A new back-up server which will mirror the main server located in the Prospect Technologies’ server farm.
- A number of new task orders to increase security, allow for new automatic password generation, and allow handicapped users to file contracts and legal documents with the FMC
- A dedicated burstable T1 line to support the FMC’s Internet services.
- Studies on how to include e-business / E-Commerce capabilities into the IBSCFS filing system.
- New reports and monitoring tools for the FMC to better perform its work.
- Ongoing maintenance, including backups, Internet hosting, Web site “uplifts”, new levels of security as well as various back office modifications to the IBSCFS.
