Prospect Technologies is awarded Maintenance Contract within DHS

Washington, DC - Prospect Technologies announced today that it has been awarded a maintenance contract for its DIGIDOQ (sm) implementation within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This multi-year / multi-task contact involves providing on-going maintenance to the firm’s Web based document management system implementation at at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters.

The Coast Guard is using DIGDOQ (sm) not only to share millions of documents currently contained within its files and data repositories with governmental agencies and other approved entities but to eliminate the need for existing on-site storage and retrieval systems. This engagement has also linked specially enabled copiers / printers to allow documents to be scanned and immediately uploaded to DIGIDOQ (sm). Once on the Web, these documents and images are converted to text files (OCRed) and searchable.

This contract will also involve applying the DIGIDOQ (sm) system to the other aspects of US Coast Guard engineering / product assurance records and information.

The original implementation contract was awarded to Prospect Technologies in March 2006.
