Homeland Security chooses DIGIDOQ

Washington, DC - It was announced today that Prospect Technologies has been awarded a multi-task contract to implement its secure Web based document management system – DIGIDOQ – at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / US Coast Guard (USCG). DHS intends to use DIGDOQ not only to share millions of documents currently contained within its files and data repositories with governmental agencies and other approved entities but to eliminate the need for existing on-site storage and retrieval systems.

‘Prospect Technologies has enjoyed a long and rewarding relationship with the US Coast Guard’, said Bill Lewis, President and CEO of Prospect Technologies. ‘Beginning with the creation and development of the award winning Web site / information portal for the USCG --- www.uscgboating.org -- Prospect Technologies now looks forward to apply some of its latest technology with respect to Web based document sharing and collaboration with this important US Government entity.’

In 1999, Prospect Technologies was part of the USCG lead team that was awarded the Vice President’s Golden Hammer award for ‘streamlining government, removing red-tape, and making the Boating Safety division more customer focused’.

Prospect Technologies is an e-business company that focuses on secure Information / Document Management for governments, corporations, industry, associations, and academe via our Web-based product digiDOQ.

Since its incorporation in 1996, Prospect Technologies has helped clients in our Nation’s Capital and across the U.S. find answers to pressing computer technology needs, especially in Information / Records management as well as the creation and on-going support of content-rich Web sites.
